Mulimedia Workshop

Are you prepared for podcasting? Does you site offer video? Do you know how to reach readers, users and clients who rely on the Internet for most of their news and information?

On Saturday, Feb. 16, The Central Ohio Chapter of SPJ will present “Build A Multimedia Environment For Your Organization,” a workshop that explains the basics of podcasting and much more.

Taught by Randy Walk and Chuck Nelson, online producers for Dispatch.com, the all-day workshop at the Columbus Dispatch will show you how to work with audio and video, including shooting, editing and digitally encoding your work. You’ll also learn how to put your finished product “on air” via the Internet.

You’ll spend the last part of the day viewing and discussing the latest trends in Internet technology and communication; the next set of tools you’ll be using.

A box lunch and coffee breaks with snacks and pop are included in the registration fee. Seating is limited, so register now.
