Panel will discuss:
- How has mainstream media been covering religious issues locally? Has the coverage been fair and informed? Is there enough coverage?
- Do religious papers do a better job of covering religious issues? Or are the publications sometimes too close to issues because of their relationship with the church?
- With buyouts, layoffs and other challenges in the media industry, how is religion coverage fairing in newsrooms? Where does it fall on the priority list?
- What stories are we missing? What should we be covering? How do we take covering religion beyond holidays? With the diverse religious communities in Columbus is anyone getting left out?
