Sept. 21 happy hour; National SPJ Conference comes to Columbus

Join us for a chapter happy hour on Monday, Sept. 21 at 7:00 PM at Gëmüt Biergarten (734 Oak St, Columbus). It’s a great chance to catch up, network, and grab a drink with fellow local journalists. Attendees must pay for their own drinks and food.

The Chapter Board of Directors will meet at 6 p.m. that day at Gëmüt for its regular monthly meeting. The meeting is open to Chapter members.

SPJ National Conference Heads To Cbus

From defending the First Amendment to exploring the future of artificial intelligence in newsrooms, SPJ26 gives journalists the tools, insights and practical takeaways they need to meet the moment.

And it’s all happening right here in Columbus from Oct. 1-4.

Sessions will explore ethics, investigative reporting, court coverage, criminal justice, campus journalism, solutions journalism, newsroom leadership, career development and more.
