Meet the 2006 Kips Jan. 19

Come out and meet the new 2006 class of fellows selected for Ohio State’s prestigious Kiplinger Program in Public Affairs Journalism at The John Glenn Institute for Public Service in Public Policy. Join other Central Ohio journalists at Business First‘s offices in the Arena District for an evening of pizza, soda and conversation with the six new Kiplinger fellows, who will introduce themselves and perhaps talk a bit about the public affairs reporting projects they will be working on in the six months ahead. These Kips — all award-winning, mid-career public affairs journalists — have covered a wide variety of beats, from the Iraq war to the Washington political scene, from economics to race relations. They also come from a broad range of posts, from The Buffalo News in New York to the North County Times in San Diego.
