Scholarships Available

The chapter is accepting applications for the James W. Faulkner Scholarships — $1,000 apiece to two students — in honor of the late Faulkner, a longtime Statehouse reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer and founder of the Ohio Legislative Correspondents Association.

The recipient need only to have an interest in pursuing a career in political reporting, and must be returning to school at an Ohio college in the summer or fall (it can’t go to a graduating senior).

Send a cover letter expressing an interest in the scholarship and resume to Joe Meyer, chapter president, at [email protected] or fax to 614-842-4760 by April 28.

Winners will be invited guests and recognized at the chapter’s Founders Day banquet on May 18
