Thinking about getting more involved in the Central Ohio SPJ chapter? Now is your chance.<\/p>\n

Dispatch <\/em>reporter Meredith Heagney has left the paper — and the chapter’s board of directors — for a new opportunity in Chicago. The board is currently looking for someone to take Meredith’s place for the final year of her unexpired 2010-2013 term.<\/p>\n

Other seats on the board also are expected to open due to term limits for two members (Sarah Mills Bacha and Jennifer Monnin) and the planned departure of another member (Barb James). <\/p>\n

Directors serve three-year terms (with a limit of three consecutive terms) and discuss chapter business at monthly board meetings, typically held the second Monday of the month. <\/p>\n
