{"id":1127,"date":"2015-03-06T13:49:43","date_gmt":"2015-03-06T18:49:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centralohiospj.org\/?p=1127"},"modified":"2015-09-09T03:24:11","modified_gmt":"2015-09-09T08:24:11","slug":"time-to-vote-for-2015-board-of-directors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centralohiospj.org\/index.php\/time-to-vote-for-2015-board-of-directors\/","title":{"rendered":"Time to vote for 2015 board of directors!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Nominations for new directors of the Central Ohio Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ)\u00a0 for 2015-16 have been made by the board and it\u2019s time for the membership to vote.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">We\u2019re asking all chapter members in good standing to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/s\/FYJB7J2\" target=\"_blank\">visit the ballot<\/a>\u00a0by <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_2120483175\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Friday, March 13, 2015<\/span><\/span><\/span> to ratify the board&#8217;s new slate of directors for three-year terms ending in 2018.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">We are also seeking nominations from membership for the chapter\u2019s annual awards for First Amendment, Distinguished Service, Appreciation and the Brick Wall. (Details about each of these awards is provided on the nomination link above.)<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">The new group of directors \u2014 as well as officers for 2015-16 \u2014 will be installed at the 66th annual Founder\u2019s Day Reception on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_2120483176\"><span class=\"aQJ\">April 8<\/span><\/span> at the Vue Columbus, 95 Liberty Street, Columbus, OH 43215. The evening will include a cocktail hour, followed by installation of SPJ officers, chapter awards and entertainment by Bill Cohen, retired statehouse bureau chief for WOSU Radio and Television. Bill will be performing his 1960s Coffee House that includes the voices, images, sounds and news of the 60s.
