Attention Freelance Journalists!

Interested in gaining recognition for your freelance work? The 2016 Ohio Society of Professional Journalists competition now has new entry categories specifically for freelancers. For the first time, freelance journalists whose work is published outside Ohio can compete, as long as they reside in the state.

The 19th annual awards program is presented collaboratively by the Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland Pro Chapters of The Society of Professional Journalists, and honors print, broadcast, online, trade, college and freelance journalists in Ohio for their best work during 2015.

The competition is open to SPJ members and non-members.

Deadline to enter is March 28. Visit ohiospjawards.org for contest details and entry information.
